I created Haptic Plank to bring people functional wood products that feel good to use.

I have a huge respect for the wood that I build with because I recognize that it was alive and grew for decades before I got the honor of turning it into something new. That's why I try to capture the dynamic nature of life in the things I build.

I believe in analog haptics. From ergonomic handles that fit a finger perfectly, to sliding lids that engage a lift mechanic. I want my products to engage the sense of touch in a satisfying and meaningful way.

Outside of woodworking, I enjoy rollerblading, cycling, and making coffee with my manual espresso maker.
